Matthew Robert Davis

Matthew Davis has devoted his legal career to supporting North Texas families through the practice of family law. Licensed by the State Bar of Texas, he is a passionate advocate who is focused on achieving practical goals for his clients through the difficult transitions of divorce, child custody, and post-divorce modifications. He understands that his clients not only demand a comprehensive understanding of the law, but also an advisor and counselor to shepherd them through the most difficult times. As native Texan, Matthew understands the values and principles Texans hold dear. By keeping these core principles at the center of his practice, he can best counter the indifference that typifies family law.

Equally comfortable in the courtroom or in mediation, Matthew tailors his advocacy to the goals and interests of each individual client. Having handled hundreds of family law matters, including complex property division, contested custody issues, and enforcement of prior orders, Matthew has the experience and expertise to ensure that your family's rights are protected.

Matthew is a graduate of the SMU Dedman School of Law. Prior to law school, he was a high school music teacher. Matthew believes that the first step to being an effective counselor is to ensure that his clients are informed of the state of the law and all potential options. Matthew is a loving husband and proud father. He is a board member of the Vivaldi Patron’s Circle, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra's young professional organization.
