I cannot explain how upset I was, especially considering my financial situation, the money spent for processing the N 600 were not refundable of course. In such moments, you feel some kind of extreme helplessness. However, I was lucky, and a few days after the refusal, I heard a program on the radio in which a representative of an organization at Columbia University participated, an organization that provides free consultations on immigration matters, in particular regarding children. Quite quickly I found how to contact them, and, without knowing anything about herI was redirected, to Maryanna. Not just I received highly qualified professional advice, but also a careful and very humane attitude towards me and my problem. The submitted appeal brought the long-awaited solution to the issue and soon my son received full right citizenship.
