I want to express my deep gratitude and recognition of Maryann’s professionalism. The process of immigration and naturalization is extremely complicated, and even if you have enough knowledge and patience to conduct the case on your own, bureaucratic force majeure and unforeseen circumstances still c...an happen, and then you find yourself in a hopeless situation. It happened to me, and as a citizen of the US, I was denied citizenship for my minor son, a green card holder - denied only because I did not have enough time to receive the full custody paper within 30 days given by USCIS. N-600 refusal is that hopeless situation in which it is not allowed to submit the application again. I cannot explain how upset I was, especially considering my financial situation, the money spent for processing the N 600 were not refundable of course. In such moments, you feel some kind of extreme helplessness. However, I was lucky, and a few days after the refusal, I heard a program on the radio in which a representative of an organization at Columbia University participated, an organization that provides free consultations on immigration matters, in particular regarding children. Quite quickly I found how to contact them, and, without knowing anything about herI was redirected, to Maryanna. Not just I received highly qualified professional advice, but also a careful and very humane attitude towards me and my problem. The submitted appeal brought the long-awaited solution to the issue and soon my son received full right citizenship. I once again thank Marianna and her colleagues for real help and a sense of confidence that any problem can be solved
