As an attorney, I am excited to assist both parents and children in navigating the legal system and making sure that kids don't go without someone on their side.
I am a mother of a goofy, energetic one-year-old son, wife to an electrical engineer, and an attorney licensed in Texas. I graduated from the University of North Carolina (go Heels!), got my J.D. at the University of Texas, and worked with a federal judge in El Paso this past year.
But long before Iaw school was a twinkle in my eye, I worked with kids. I taught preschool, worked with young children in an afterschool program, tutored students elementary through high-school, and worked in a group home with children with severe developmental disabilities. In fact, I have always known deep down that I wanted to work with kids in some capacity in my career. I love the joy that kids bring to every day life, and I know the stresses that they can bring as well.
