I write practical, easy-to-understand guides for non-lawyers on estate planning, probate and trust law topics.

For many of my 30+ years as an attorney, I practiced estate planning, probate and trust law, in three different states, both as a partner in a large firm and as the principal of a boutiques trusts & estates firm.  I have helped numerous clients define their goals and objectives, and then implement their wishes as simply and efficiently as possible through their estate plans.  My approach is client-oriented.

During my law practice, I also taught a course on the topic of trusts at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of South Carolina Beaufort.  I greatly enjoy explaining complicated trusts & estates topics to non-lawyers in a practical, easy-to-understand way.
