Mr. Jones is hands down the best attorney I have personally retained. When I came to his office my expectations of what was possible in my case were thrown to the side and he explained that my expectations were far too low and how he wanted to start the process. By the time the decree was signed he h...ad exceeded his own prediction of what the outcome would be. All the while through the case I never felt in the dark as his assistant would explain every step of the case I needed to know. I would and have recommend him to all of my friends, even the ones outside the county.

Mr. Jones and his assistant Sue, will do whatever is needed to help you win your case. They go over and beyond. They’re not intimidated by other attorneys. They are always ready to fight for you, so that you will have the best outcome possible. They work as a team; not like other firms where the atto...rney doesn’t know what the assistant or secretaries are doing. I highly recommend him to my family and friends.

Mr. Jones misrepresented himself in so many aspects and did such a poor job that a review is not enough to describe. Right now I am dealing with the fact that he failed to put in the temporary orders that once my son became an adult I should stop paying child support for him. I am paying his college ...and his mother is pocketing the extra thanks to Mr. Jones. Don't trust when he tells you that he is experienced when seems to be asking people what to do. That is what he did when the petitioner had cameras inside the house and he was asking what to do to the company. Quite frankly I found out the process in a few days rather than 40 years. Of course when you charge someone to learn why not keep going. He lied to me in many occasions which is not what a Lawyer is supposed to do. A very disorganized office with dogs walking through it. The dogs are nice though. When I called the office the retainer was going to be $ 5,000.00 dollars. When they heard my wife's attorney Lynette Terry it went up to $ 10,000.00 dollars. However when he spoke with me it became $ 15,000.00 dollars. Interesting the exact same amount she charged her. Coincidence? He withdraw from my case when I notified the FBI a GPS was found in my car. I do not recommend this Lawyer. I do not think he should be practicing law if he lies to his clients. And trust me he will play with your emotional aspect of divorce with stupid things that will not matter at the end. I have interviewed other lawyers in Houston as I realized that the buddy system may work in Angleton. All of them had a set initial retainer rate that was the same. None of them was like Mr. Jones $ 5,000,00 to $ 10,000.00 then somehow to $ `15,000.00 that matches the petitioner's retainer. Really? I consider legal malpractice failing to defend my interests. I have sent him a request demanding an explanation how a lawyer with such a vast experience made the mistake to "forget" to place in the temporary order that once the child becomes an adult then child support would be modified. That is costing me a lot of money, son more than $ 10,000,00. So unless you want to waste you money like I am being forced to do I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LAWYER. I am evaluating if I can file a claim in the small claims court against such lawyer to recover money lost due to his lack of competence and professionalism in my case.
