I got myself into a bad situation dating an old high school friend that I hadn’t seen in 11 years and wasn’t what I call the type of guy you wouldnt want dating your daughter if you are a mother or father. My ex-husband filed a modification of custody for our son after learning I was dating him and... it was for good reason, not the jealous ex-husband type, he had a right to do it. Mark Busby made it clear he was not a good guy and If I didn’t stay away from him I would lose my children. I really tried very hard but he had a way of manipulating you to feel sorry for him because no one wants to be around him. Mark worked very hard with an open CHINS case, the custody case, and a protective order case with me. He was very courteous to my needs, and worked with me on payments. Overall the best attorney I’ve had the opportunity to work with, I just wish he was available for the help I need now. I made the biggest mistake last April 2017 by dropping a criminal confinement/battery case on him because I did strike him as well but I dropped the case for my son, he wasn’t comfortable testifying against him. When the case was dropped he was released the next month. I then lost the custody of my 6 year old son because of it, although I believe the GAL was very biased toward me, I live in a much larger home that’s beautifully decorated inside by my father as it was his home prior and I have pontes for my kids, over 5 acres, their own wooden swing set with sandbox, and an enclosed patio out back with two levels. My sons father lives in a small home in RockyRipple near a river, but these women praised so much about Aidens home with Dad and left out very important details regarding my home, I raised Aiden pretty much on my own til 4, that’s when his father decided he wanted to hurt me. It was not at all that he wanted custody or more time with Aiden, it was all purely to hurt me because he knew it would and that’s the only way he could hurt me anymore. After court The ex started coming back around. By this time my case for custody was over, so Mark was no longer my attorney but I really regret to getting in touch with him for help sooner. He now is doing great things for a private company I hear. No matter how much I told him to leave me be, he never would. After jail he even often said someone told me I should sue you for putting me in jail for 4 months for defamation of character. He sees himself innocent if he beats a case, this case was not beat it was dropped and I’m paying for it now. I filed a protective order as I could not take it with him anymore and after three calls to police they finally arrested him again and this time I’m not backing down, he ruined my life and I’m slowly working to clean it all up.
