Margaret Sanregret Shockley

Through a recommendation from a former colleague, I engaged Margaret to help me negotiate my partnership agreement for a start-up real estate consulting firm. The agreement my partner had presented, was poorly crafted and lacked the professional elements of a true partnership agreement. Many of the... provisions were one-sided and unfairly weighted to the majority interest. Not only did Margaret represent my interests as she proposed fair and constructive feedback, she also rewrote and re-crafted most of the document. The result was a fair and unbiased agreement that all of the minority partners felt comfortable with. She coached me through my initial emotional reactions and helped me focus on the important issues I needed to be aware of as I took this important step. I will be looking for more opportunities to work with Margaret in the future.
