Environmental, natural resources, landuse/real estate attorney with specialization in: environmental law, environmental crimes (illegal discharges, dumping), oil, gas, and mineral rights, water rights, eminent domain, construction, energy (solar and wind projects), land use (zoning, CEQA/NEPA, permits, easements). I defend our clients in litigation, regulatory enforcement actions, and citizen suits involving the air, soil, and water contamination, including: SCAQMD, CUPA, CARB, Department of Toxic Substances and Control-DTSC, Regional Water Quality Control Board-RWQCB, Enviromental Protection Agency-US EPA and Cal EPA, and Proposition 65 actions. My practice includes advice on compliance and permit issues involving wetlands, water, hazardous waste, and endangered species. We provide full real estate transactional and litigation services, which includes my specialization in more specialized representation in areas of eminent domain, inverse condemnation, and Homeowners' Association-HOA-disputes. I successfully represent public agencies in the acquisition of right of way and other property for the most important projects in the state: road, rail, flood control, utility, and school projects. I also represent landowners and business owners facing both full and partial takings. On the land use side, I assist both private and public agencies through all aspects of CEQA, land use and zoning restrictions.
