Worst attorney of all time. I had my dog stolen. We go into court and Marcy let the thief and convicted felon (larceny) speak all he wanted. He spat out Al kinds of crap that was not true. She never once allowed me the opportunity to speak. If she had I could have gotten my dog back right away. Inste...ad, it took me a whole year to get my dog back. Find a REAL attorney.

She claimed that the papers she was given the first time she had trouble understanding it and she said she emailed them to send her more information she then called us on the weekend and she said she couldn't take our case I then told her she was paid off to drop the case but I will file a small clai...ms case without a attorney

I hired Marcy to help me get my dog back from a thug who stole him. In our first hearing, Marcy never once asked me any questions in court that would help me get my dog back. The convicted felon and thugh who stole my dog got to talk and talk and talk and talk, yet Marcy made sure I never got to say ...a word. Because of that, the judge ruled in favor for the thug to keep my dog until we went to trial. We went to trial and I finally one but it was a year before I ever got my dog back. Also, this thug made a lot of false statements in court. Marcy told me she would do a requesto to produce evidence of all of these statements but she never did. Weeks went by and I kept reminder her, but she never did. The last time I had reminded her she said that too much time had gone by and that the judge probably wouldn't remember anynmore. So I chewed Marcy out for this. She got her feeling hurt and stopped communicating with me. Its very said that some pos thug can get away with stealing a veterans dog, costing the veteran thousands in legal fees, all while making tons of accusations, but he never had to pay for it. Thanks to Marcy LaHart, it took a year for me to get my dog back. A YEAR!!!! All because she didn't let me speak at all during that first hearing, letting the thug seal the show and make accusations. And because she failed to do the request to produce as she said she would, that thug got away we stealing my dog and got away with tons of false accusations. Find a better attorney. Find someone who actually cares.

DO NOT HIRE THIS ATTORNEY! Y’all know I don’t bash people and that’s not what I’m trying to do. I just want everyone to know how this lady runs her business so you don’t waste your money like I did and then have trouble with her trying to get it back. I’m sure most of you remember when I had the cour...t date for My dog Diamond about a month and a half ago. Well I gave this lady $1000 As she requested to take my case. And then she canceled on me the day before court… And left me with no choice but to basically just sign some paperwork with the states attorney. She was not present and never showed for anything at all! Since then I have asked her over and over and over to please return my money and she just gives me a hard time. She says that my bank already has the money. I never received the money from this lady! I’ve tried to explain this to her and she doesn’t care. So basically at this point I gave her $1000 and it’s been about six weeks and I still haven’t gotten it back even after asking and asking nicely. I just wanted to Make it known to everybody in Lake county Florida Do not use this lady For an attorney she is not trustworthy. And if anybody could give me suggestions on how I could go about getting my $1000 back I would highly appreciate it. Thank you!
