Biography
Dedicated to helping others get back on their feet after an accident, Marcelo Gomez has been practicing law since 1993. His desire to practice personal injury law speaks volumes to his compassion and personal responsibility towards helping victims of negligence and wrongdoing get back on their feet.
Born in Colombia, South America, Marcelo came to the United States at the early age of five and has lived the majority of his life in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
A graduate of Pine Crest Preparatory High School, he attended and graduated from the University of Florida in 1989 and received his law degree from the University of Florida College of Law in 1992. While attending law school he worked at the law school graduation, Marcelo worked as a civil litigator with several high profile law firms in the Miami area. Eventually, Marcelo went off on his own and co-founded the Law Offices of Schiller, Kessler & Gomez, PLC in 2004.
Marcelo is a member of Florida Bar, the Broward Hispanic Bar Association and is an active member of the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers. He is also a founding member of the Colombian-American Bar Association which was created in 2000 to help and assist people in need of legal assistance who cannot afford legal representation.
Over the years Marcelo has been hosted on several television and radio programs as a trusted authority in the area of personal injury law.
As an attorney, Marcelo takes pride in giving clients the utmost professional and personal service. He has been an active volunteer within the Hispanic community and has participated in many pro-bono programs for those in need.
