Maci R. Burke

Maci R. Burke’s practice focuses on corporate, real estate, and estate planning matters. She regularly advises individuals and businesses regarding entity formation; corporate governance; negotiation and drafting of contracts, including purchase agreements, employment agreements, construction agreements, leases, and pre- and post-nuptial agreements; and the development of estate and succession plans.

Maci earned her law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School with a concentration in Business Law. As a law student, Maci led the Business Law Clinic as student director and completed externships with SICK, Inc., a leading global producer of industrial sensors and opto-electronic technologies, and the Hennepin County Mental Health & Probate Court.

Maci served as an editor for the Journal of Law & Inequality and has authored scholarly works addressing novel topics in Native American Law and Family Law. While at the University of Minnesota, Maci coordinated the 2021 Summit for Civil Rights on housing policy and its relationship to education policy, racial segregation, and concentrated poverty.

Maci received her undergraduate degree summa cum laude from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and studied International Relations in Seville, Spain. As an intern with the United States Senate in Washington, D.C., Maci served the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation and its Subcommittee on Surface Transportation, Maritime, Freight, and Ports.
