Lorena was honestly a breath of fresh air. Being a U.S. citizen who recently started dating someone who is an undocumented immigrant, I had a lot of questions/anxiety over the situation and the future possibilities: If we ever married down the line, would he be forced to return to his home country f...or 10 years prior to returning? How long would it take for him to get a green card/become a citizen? After spending a couple days on the internet sifting through endless articles and legal jargon trying to find answers, I became frustrated as some of the available information was outdated while others just didn't apply based on his circumstances.
