Ms. Jorge was a godsend. She is extremely knowledgeable about the immigration process and kept us informed about the timeline and what to expect. She was very patient with us and worked hard to correct any mishap my wife or I created. She provided excellent advice and resources. Loide Jorge is an incredible immigration attorney who turned around a I-751 denial for my sister (i.e. termination of her temporary green card followed by the issuance of a court date for deportation proceedings to begin) last year. She managed to help us file a new I-751 that was far more detailed a...nd thoughtfully written than the original I-751, and got my sister reinstated back to being "in status" with a stamp in her passport that allowed her to work and travel again while the new I-751 was under review. We had previously hired two other law firms including some big name partners in DC, and had a total of 4 lawyers continuing to be very pessimistic about the chances of a second I-751 being approved and pushing us to consider asylum. As soon as we met Loide, we had a lawyer who was laying out different strategies and giving us detailed explanations as to why there was merit to trying her approach. She advised us to apply for US citizenship after filing the second I-751 since my sister had been in the US for over 10 years (no other lawyer had suggested this) and managed to get her US citizenship in less than 6 months from our filing date. She was repeatedly able to point out the shortcomings in the other law firms' perspectives, and rapidly gained our trust when we saw how much time she was willing to offer to allay our fears and explain more about the principles of USCIS' regulations to us. No other lawyer had listened and cared in the same manner, and she never charged extra for the time she spent going above and beyond to send lengthy detailed email explanations for the strategy at each major decision gate. She also cared so deeply and allowed us to express all the difficult emotions that come up with the stress of a denial letter. That joyous phrase cemented our feelings that one of the best decisions that my wife and I made was to retain the services of Ms. Jorge for our case. Green Card filing is a stressful situation and process. As an American, I have never been thru this process or have any knowledge of it.
