Ms. Jorge was contacted about a stroke victim, whose medical care was in jeopardy because he was being denied his Social Security benefits, which included Medicare. The client's Social Security was being denied because of his immigration status. The client had an old residency card that needed to be ...replaced. Time was of the essence, because the client needed further surgery and needed to be transferred to a new medical facility. Everything turned out well, thanks to the compassion Ms. Jorge demonstrated in my family's time of need.
