Lewis David Sorokin

Lewis David Sorokin is licensed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Lewis is Treasurer and Copyright Committee Head of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Intellectual Property Law Section, and a member of the ABA Forum on the Entertainment and Sports Industries, The Copyright Society, Water & Music, and several other professional organizations at the nexus of technology, music, and intellectual property.
Lewis was previously associated with a boutique entertainment and general practice law firm where he represented clients such as musicians, filmmakers, playwrights, online content creators, and entrepreneurs, specializing in intellectual property and civil litigation.

Lewis earned his Juris Doctor from Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law in Philadelphia, PA with a concentration in Intellectual Property, with honors. There, Lewis was an Editor for the Drexel Law Review from 2020 to 2022. During law school, Lewis worked as a Judicial Intern for Hon. Lois H. Goodman, USMJ of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, a Legal Services Coordinator for Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, and a Faculty Research Fellow for Prof. Adam Benforado.

Lewis’ writing on topics surrounding music, technology, and the law has been published in Drexel Law Review, The Legal Intelligencer, Hypebot, and Full Rate No Cap. Lewis has also spoken on legal issues in the blockchain industry.
