Zero stars! Worst lawyer I could have chosen. After a 32 year marriage I hired Kurt Hughes for my divorce. He not only put zero preparation into my case.. it was if he was helping the other side. He went completely blank during his weak cross examination as he remembered nothing about anything I had... told him. He emailed me trying to get me to pay more money just before the final hearing .. he dropped the ball and never scheduled a hearing as my ex had taken the $70k of joint monies and left me with zero.. I had given him the last $12k I had. So he emailed me 4 days before hearing stating he had quit representing me.. I informed the court and asked for additional time via registered letter to the court. They denied it, notified Hughes, who never told me.. This self proclaimed “Super Lawyer” cost me $350,000!! Not only was he preoccupied with other cases.. he is arrogant and does not care about your case. Zero preparation .. will always demand more money and does the very bare minimum. He just physically shows up.. it made me 100% believe he was helping the other side. He will do everything to make you pay $30k after telling you $12k.. Hiring Kurt Hughes is easily the biggest mistake I have ever made in my adult life
