Krista has met Supreme Court Justices Kagan and Thomas, and she has met rock stars Rob Zombie and Steven Tyler of Aerosmith … but luckily, not at the same time. When she met the Justices, she was given a backstage tour of the Supreme Court.
One thing is for sure – Krista is gutsy in both her personal life and her professional life. She has scuba dived just a few feet away from Florida sharks and barracudas, and she has also fought tirelessly for justice. She has advocated for veterans, women’s income equality in the workforce, and children with disabilities. “I can only imagine how much more difficult it is for a person who is not aware of their rights and does not have someone to advocate for them,” she says.
Krista received Bachelor’s degrees in History and Political Science from the State University of New York and was a member of the Women’s Studies Association. Her Juris Doctor degree came from George Mason University School of Law, where she was a member of the Moot Court Board. Krista served as an Associate Editor of the Civil Rights Law Journal and Vice President of the Women’s Law Association.
Krista admits that she’s a bit of an “over-sharer” who says exactly what she means and means what she says. But being a straight shooter is an especially good quality in an attorney.
