Kieran was very helpful during a difficult time. She not only answered the 100 questions I had but also explained everything in depth to make sure I was fully aware of everything going on during the divorce process. There was never a time where I requested to speak with the the lead attorney because ...she had all the answers. Thank you!

Divorce is emotional and messy and having the right attorney working for your best interest is essential. I hired Kieran Kaur initially for my divorce and was disappointed. She advised me to purchase a home, which ultimately fell through since I wasn't legally divorced, and caused me to lose several ...thousand dollars; I retained her services and filled out the required paperwork that was sent to me and had no inclination of timelines or next steps; I had to call to confirm that documents were received after several days of not hearing anything; and I had left several voice messages for her and didn't hear back. After multiple weeks of waiting after completing all paperwork, my soon-to-be-ex had still not been served divorce papers. Ms. Kaur had informed me that she has pending divorce cases that are 6 months old, and divorce takes time; however, mine was not even started!! The firm's owner, Scott Schlegel, returned my messages and tried to salvage our "relationship." I discussed my situation and expressed my dissatisfaction. He tried to explain what Ms. Kaur "meant." I, personally have never been divorced before and did not know what to expect. I am not retaining an attorney to have to infer and make assumptions on what I'm being told; I'm retaining an attorney to provide legal advice in a time of total despair. Scott Schlegel also reiterated that my retainer is nonrefundable, despite the fact that nothing has been done with my case. Instead, he offered me an estate credit, which is not going to help me get a divorce. My advice is to talk to people who you trust, find an attorney that you can depend on that is referred to you, and do not rely on your employer's assistance program to find legal advice. It's great that two other people (per the reviews) have been satisfied with Ms. Kaur's services, but I definitely do not recommend her.
