My story: After I remarried, I told my Ex-wife I will be fighting for custody for my two daughters. It did not take her too long to come up with a devious plan. She accused me of everything she could think of, and I ended up with 15 charges of indecent acts with a minor and a rape charge. I thought ...my world was breaking apart. I could not understand how she could do such a thing, and moreover, I could not understand how she got my kids to tell all those lies. I did not want to rely solely on my Area Defense Counsel’s (ADC) help, so I contacted several different lawyers close-by. I was looking for someone who had prior military experience and knows the military legal system. Someone I can meet up with and talk to face to face, who would listen to me, who would believe in me and give me mutual trust, and someone who I can afford. This may sound silly, under those circumstances, but I’m enlisted we don’t make that much money. I had several lawyers telling me their price and after I said I cannot afford that, they asked me the question what I think my life is worth. I answered: Everything I have. But that was not enough for them. Ken David represented everything I was looking to get in a lawyer and I owe him my life. After a year long OSI investigation we finally had a date for the Article 32 hearing. Ken David together with my ADC got the rape charge dropped and 9 charges of indecent acts with a minor. My Court Martial was 4 months later, and it lasted 4 days. Those were the most horrific days in my life. I already had in the back of my mind that I will be sentenced to jail. When the jury came out and found me not guilty of all charges, all of my prayers had been answered. I know I would not be here right now, if it wasn’t for Ken David. He believed in me from day one, and he was fighting for me in that court room. I wish I could hire him as my lawyer in the state of Virginia to fight for my rights as a father. With him on my side, I know I would have my children back in my life by now. Ken if you read this, I want to thank you again from the bottom of my heart. KD was hired to correct an upside down Dissolution of Marriage case. I came to KD with all of my concerns up front that I needed to have corrected, and challenged immediately (that was 2005), it is now fours years later and I am still dealing with those issues that I initially took to Mr. KD with th...e exception of one major issue which he felt was to only issue. Upon hiring KD a deposit was sent to him to go to court for me to stop an unjustified garnishment which he faild to do. Later during the evolution of the various issues that occured from the opposing team KD allowed chaos and constant delays draging everything out much longer that what is should have been. KD did not display knowledge to repell opposing counsel and her client's attacks, is a very very nice gentleman to include his court presentation. At the end of the main issue KD sent me an invoice more than the original deposit, so after I challenged him with proof we settled for 1/3 the cost. The issues still exist!!!!

I had a pretty rough patch full of accusations that were false and Mr. David helped smash through all the lies and cleared my name and allowed my family and I to move on with our lives. Mr David came into this case on my request and was always straight forward and honest with me with what he thoug...ht was the proper route to take. I was charged Assault, Assault on a female, and unlawful entry and went to an Article 32. Mr. David cross examined the prosecutions witnesses and was able to show that the accuser had lied and embellished her story. He was able to get the first 2 charges immediately thrown out. My command then decided to push the matter and another charge of drunk and disorderly was then added on. I was offered a summery court marshal that I would have to plead guilty to and be discharged with an Other then Honorable. Mr. David said that was not a good deal and that he was confident if I took this to a Special court marshal that we could beat the charges still pending. Mr. David was a magician at the trial and uncovered the truth quickly and even had the prosecutions witnesses admitting the truth of the matter and was able to get me a NOT GUILTY on all charges. I owe this man my live and will never be able to repay him for his help. I would recommend that anyone that has a case that looks like there is no hope to call on this man. He is top rate. Any lawyer that goes head to head with this man need beware!

To be brief, I was facing some serious charges, not to mention life altering prison time and sexual offender registration. I was accused of multiple indecent acts with a minor. Despite the fact that there was no evidence and an ever changing story by the accuser the JAG was ready to hang me out to ...dry. I was appointed an Area Defense Council.
