Kathryn Michelle Lyons

Kate is a versatile attorney who provides her clients with a range of legal options for resolving their disputes. Kate recognizes that each and every case is unique and has the skills required to provide the right means of solving the issues presented. Specializing in litigation of both family matters and domestic violence, Kate’s experience and drive allows her to reach the best resolution possible for her clients. She was chosen as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2024 and 2025.

Joining DCS in 2021, Kate has sharply honed her family law skills since graduating from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis in 2012. She has dedicated her career to assisting families in moving forward past their disputes, whether aggressively advocating in Court or carefully negotiating a settlement. Kate’s primary concern and goal is the best interests of the client. She is an active member of the Mercer County Bar Association and serves as an ESP panelist in Mercer County. Having been born and raised in New Jersey, and residing here with her own family, Kate is dedicated to resolving those issues presented to all families in her community.

When not advocating on behalf of her clients, Kate enjoys spending time with her family, including trying to keep up with her two young children, her garden, and college basketball.
