Biography
Katie Stauffer is the owner and managing attorney of Estate House Law. Having personally experienced more than one failed estate plan after the passing of loved ones, she is determined to keep others from going through the same horrible experience.
Originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, Katie attended the University of Arkansas where she was a 4 year scholarship athlete as a member of the university’s soccer program. While at Arkansas, Katie was selected to the SEC Good Works Team. She was also elected to the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), an NCAA-mandated committee that includes male and female student athletes who review policy issues and make decisions on behalf of their fellow athletes. Katie was chosen as the female athletic representative from the University of Arkansas to attend a meeting at SEC Headquarters, Atlanta, Georgia, for discussion of issues critical to student athletes across the region. Katie was also a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and was recognized as the “Colgate Champion of Character” out of all female Arkansas Razorback athletes. Katie was on the SEC Academic Honor Roll all four years of her studies and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
Katie is a graduate of The University of Oklahoma College of Law. While still in law school, Katie also served as a summer clerk for the Honorable Chief District Judge Gregory Frizzell.
