This woman literally saved my kids back in 2012. She went up against my ex whose new wife thought she wanted to be mommy, and take my kids to Australia. Karen stepped in and dealt with the situation fast. My ex fled the country after Karen cut through his nonsense, and has seen the kids ONE time sinc...e 2012. They dont speak to him at all now seeing what he attempted. Its now 2025. Karen saved my family and my sanity, and she was always so powerful and confident. The judges respected her, the other attorney did too, and she has NO problem just getting to the issue. Id tell anyone struggling - that this women has your back, and she concerned with YOU not your wallet. Karen Cahn was able to explain the ins and outs of custody law to me in a concise and actionable way. Once hired, she was extremely efficient, always giving me advice on what would be best for what I'd told her I needed. S She didn't use obscure legal-ese and neither did she gloss over the hard stuff.... She's matter of fact and diligent, and extremely honest about what is and is not possible. And when things got difficult in the case she strongly and smartly advocated for what she and I thought was right. Difficult situations need clarity and trust, and I had both with her, which was and is a tremendous relief. I can't recommend her highly enough.

I recently hired Karen to represent me in negotiation of a prenuptial agreement and was very pleased with her service. She was thorough and efficient, pointing out numerous issues with the draft document and quickly providing suggestions and revised language to ensure that the final agreement was cle...arly written and fair. Her fee was very reasonable and I would certainly consider engaging her again, should I have the need.
