Josiah Weiss, I hired because I was embezzled due to the fact of having a traumatic brain injury as well as epilepsy. I grew up with my cousins and Westnewbury Massachusetts were supposed to be so wonderful. They ended up developing on twig rush, Summersweet Lane, which came off of Dole Place, which ...was known as hobby farm. My mother paid for it, supporting those relatives Until the realty company was up and running along with his best friend, the developer Josiah, on the phone, speaking with the wife of Said cousin, who I didn’t know actually adopted me the family took every single penny. My mother left all of the properties, including UK Canada she had private businesses, large stocks bonds , I was owed more than $2 million. Never mind lost 35 houses he wanted me to take $500,000. I know he was paid off and he was furious when I fired him I told him he did not have the correct amount of houses nor did he have the correct bonds or companies that she my mother owned , the person I was suing he was on the phone with constantly that family was known for paying off people. I still can’t get over the fact I’m living in poverty because he was so incompetent. It’s really sad him getting so mad when I told him forget it. I had just hired a private investigator that found so much information That he personally could have done and he probably did to have a client that would’ve had millions of dollars more than two actually finding 35 houses finding properties finding out that the family member don’t even consider a family member that sold properties on me taking properties giving to family members horrible horrible lawyer don’t use him ever. Somebody said he probably took money from that fancy family and I agree.

I consulted with Josiah in February 2018 in regards to my custody case, which is a very high conflict complex case. I did not hire Josiah until May 2018, but he was contacting me during this time asking about the case and how he really wanted to take it on. Between May 2018-July 2018 he was paid $15,...000 but things weren’t adding up. August 2018, I received court paperwork from the other party in this case, which ultimately lead me to finding out he was and had been suspended from the bar since July 2018. I was scheduled for trial September 2018, Josiah was unable to represent me but promised he would find another attorney to be there, which he would reimburse from the last payment he received from me of $5,000 July 30,2018 (he had been suspended since July 8, 2018). Fast forward to now, I have been unable to reach him since October 2018, my current Attorney (who represented me at trial for Josiah) has also not been able to reach him. I am out $15,000, the trial went horribly since he never did anything for my case from the get go, and am now fighting a huge uphill battle to fix his wrong doings. I have been personally contacted by an investigator for the Office of Bar Counsel! This man is a total fraud, has caused myself, my child, and family such hurt than I care to even explain. The saddest thing about this whole situation is, it happened more than once to people who thought they could trust this man.

This attorney is the worst I have ever hired. Although I paid him a nice amount, despite my financial problems, he did not do anything . He told me in writing that he had requested documents, even submitted them to the courts. Upon checking with the authorities it turns out that he did not do anythin...g. I started working with him in 2017 but by the end of 2018 nothing happened and he can not be reached now for months. Stay away from him!!

Last year I hired him for a Divorce. Paid him the retainer fee. For a few months there was great communication and very sympathetic. After my divorce was put on hold upon my request, I then decided to recently move forward with the Divorce. After months of trying to get ahold of him via phone a...nd email, he is unreachable. He doesn't return my emails or phone calls. So now I'm stuck!

I reached out to Josiah dealing with a serious personal matter and needing a divorce. After taking the retainer and payments I still do not have a divorce. I have tried to call him since August (it is October) as well as email and text. I do not have money for another attorney. I am in a bad position... and just want to have my divorce finalized.
