I give an uncommonly high level of personal attention to each case, often pouring over thousands of pages of facts and medical records to find that obscure detail that will give my client an edge, favorably affecting the settlement. During our work on the case, I pay close attention to the needs of my clients, seeking to listen to their concerns with empathy and understanding, because I’ve found that the care with which clients are treated at every step along the way can be a factor as important as the outcome of their case. Still, there’s nothing like the satisfaction expressed by my clients when they are happy with the settlement they’ve received. It’s a fascinating learning experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Though the majority of my cases are in the area of personal injury, I also enjoy employment law, which involves navigating the Federal Court System and dealing with the interesting and constantly developing area of civil rights.

Born in Kansas, but raised through high school in Malaysia, I'm fluent in three languages: English, Mandarin and Malay. I graduated with a B.A. in political science from West Virginia University in 2011 and obtained my law degree (Juris Doctor) in 2014 from the University of San Diego. Personal interests include learning about various cultures - favorites are Chinese and the Early American Colonial period, keeping up on current events - mostly through online newsfeeds, reading science and legal articles, studying case law and watching movies - favorite genres are documentary, action movies and drama.

My goal is to continually improve my effectiveness as a personal injury attorney so that I can always provide the highest quality of legal representation to my clients and help create the best result.
