I was involved in a Bike v Car incident where the driver admit responsibility on the site and after the fact in writing. I was hesitant to even involve an attorney as it seemed pretty straight forward to me, and something I could navigate myself. After submitting a preliminary claim, the driver's i...nsurance company denied fault and attempted to blame me for the accident. Not only would I have been out my bike (which was destroyed) and medical bills, but possibly could have been on the hook for damages to the driver's car, even though it was clear that I was not at fault. Joe Vietri worked with me diligently through the process. He was thorough, responsive, and extremely patient with me. At first I wanted to be very involved and was doing research on my own trying to "help" but it quickly became evident that I was in good hands with Joe. He talked me through everything that I needed to do, how the process generally worked, and was open with me when things took unexpected turns. I'm confident that I couldn't have gotten through the entire process without Joe, and it's put a lot of perspective on the world for me. Even in scenarios that appear to be very straight forward and have a clear answer, it was very evident that having a professional in the field is the only way to not be taken advantage of.
