Mr. Rattman helped my relative, who was in dire straits, to get disability in record time. He could not have been more helpful, efficient, respectful or thorough. I have only the best things to say about him, and I have dealt with plenty of attorneys, being a former legal secretary for over 20 year...s myself. That being said, he is absolutely honest and will tell you the unvarnished truth on your chances of winning your case. You may not want to hear the truth, but why should he waste your time or his on a case that is going nowhere? If you have a legitimate case and want an honest and fair representative who is upfront with you and above board, Mr. Rattman is your man.

My neuro-psychologist recommended Attorney Rattman to me once it was established that I was unable to work for an extended period of time. From the initial visit until my Disability hearing date, Attorney Rattman treated me with the utmost respect and consideration. He explained to me in detail every... aspect of what was going to happen, down to the timelines. Attorney Rattman and his assistant always made themselves available to me whenever I had questions or was uncertain about something. I highly recommend Attorney Rattman for anyone with legitimate Social Security Disability claims who want and need a good attorney who has their best interests at heart.

Like the review below, this "lawyer" didn't even look at any of the three folders full of paperwork I brought - at his request - before launching into a nasty tirade in which he accused me of faking my disability to get pain medication, made derogatory remarks regarding my psychological health, prie...d into my personal affairs, verbally attacked me for personal choices that had nothing to do with my disability claim then belittled me for not having expert knowledge of the area of law I was consulting him for help with - isn't that WHY I was seeing him, because he's supposed to be the legal expert? I failed to see any legal understanding on his part though he does seem to think he's a doctor based upon his quick referral that I should be seeing a "psychologist, psychiatrist, counselor or social worker" instead of a physician - a comment that falls grossly outside of the scope of his expertise and was not warranted by any means. I felt like the only purpose of our appointment was for him to use me as an emotional punching bag to get out his frustrations - he seemed to enjoy berating me as the more upset I got, the meaner and louder he became until I ran out of his office in tears . His "legal" opinion of my case was completely off base as the next lawyer I consulted had no issue representing me for the same issue I had seen "Attorney" Rattman for. Don't waste your time with this emotional time bomb and see a legitimate attorney that can properly manage their personal stress and anger. He should have his license to practice law revoked for the abusive manner in which he treats potential clients especially considering he deals with disabled persons.

was referred to this lawyer by an agency. When I called he was very rude and did not fully listen to me about my case. After a short time he started speaking to me as if I was unintelligent and had nothing medically wrong to appeal my disability findings. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM, he is very rude and ...jumps to an assumption about you too quick. Find a lawyer that will work for you and not against you, don’t waste your time with him.
