For nearly 20 years I have successfully represented clients throughout the world with interests in Illinois, as well as in federal jurisdictions and other states. Today my firm is eight-lawyers strong, with offices in Aurora, Chicago and Lombard, Ill., and representing U.S. clients as far away as Texas and Florida, as well as Americans living abroad, including those serving in the Armed Forces, and international clients with business or personal legal issues in the U.S. More about my background and the other attorneys at JPMA can be found at .

STAY AWAY from Joseph P McCaffery and Illinois Homeowners Fighting Foreclosure
Extremely unethical and unprofessional "attorney." Google "Joseph P McCaffery Bolingbrook" and read about what he is being accused of. It will show you his true character. He has already been suspended once and it sounds like he will be again. Hiring him was the biggest mistake I ever made. He is all...

Do not hire this lawyer
I hired this lawyer and paid in full to do a simple divorce for me. After 2 months he never filed the petition for my divorce. He doesnt return phone calls or emails. He took the money and ran. If you decide to hire this lawyer dont give him any money.
We recognize this case. We accepted an initial retainer to prepare a divorce filing. After producing all documents for filing we waited weeks for the client to provide requisite court filing fee which was never paid. During this time the client's estranged wife died. As he now is a widower, there is no longer need for divorce. Even if he had provided the court fee, it would be unethical to proceed under the circumstances. We have not returned the earned fee for preparing the the matter for filing as the work was done and any delay in filing was caused by the client. Had the case been filed it would have been summarily dismissed once the court was informed that our client now is a widower.

I was still in my house - for more than two years - during foreclosure procedings so I was able to save money for a new home when it was all over and these law...

Most responsive and great in court
Mr. McCaffery is the most responsive lawyer I ever met, even on weekends he calls back and if you try to call and leave messages even late at nite, he will call back usually within 10 minutes. He completely shut down the other side and got the case against me dismissed with one court document.
