I represent companies regarding negotiating and drafting contract terms, including terms and conditions of sale, particularly for machinery manufacturers and distributors. I also negotiate, draft and review non-disclosure agreements.

Insurance 15%

I have handled many coverage and bad faith cases both for policyholders and insurers, but I now only represent policyholders. I review insurance coverage issues, but no longer handle litigation.

Mike Haverson, Litigation Management/Insurance Consulting and Mediation.

I retained John as an outside counsel on a number of large, complex litigation cases (both within and outside of Georgia) when he was a partner at McKenna, Long and Aldridge and I was a Vice President at Zurich Insurance. John is the rare attorney who pays close attention to the details and activiti...es of a case while maintaining a terrific understanding of the big picture business goals. John is very responsive and has an excellent grasp of the technical issues faced in commercial and insurance litigation. He is also a consummate team player who works equally well with the client and other attorneys. John is an excellent lawyer, a straight shooter and is a pleasure to work with.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
