When you’re not from the area and don’t know who to go to, hiring an attorney is somewhat of a leap of faith. After the initial consultation, she was the lawyer I felt best about and never was I disappointed. Jillyn represented me diligently through a long, difficult, and hotly contested international divorce with a lot of issues. My ex was trying to cheat me out of a lifetime of assets after a long term marriage. The case went to trial and she was very well prepared, arguing my case to make sure that didn’t happen and that the outcome was fair and correct. Jillyn knows the law very well and it showed. She was well prepared, really fought hard for my rights and was always available, ready to listen and advise. Jillyn is very personable, eloquent and articulate. You could probably spend a lot more money for another family law attorney but I seriously doubt the professional performance would be better than Jillyn O’Shaughnessey. I’m thankful that she has represented me. I believe I hired the best lawyer possible for my complex case. I doubt the outcome of my case would’ve been as favorable otherwise. Highly recommended!
