DO NOT HIRE!! DO NOT HIRE!!! DO NOT HIRE!! EVEN IF YOU HAVE NO MONEY (ESPECIALLY THEN.. unless the divorce does not involve custody or anything you care about) i don't have a lot of experience dealing with lawyers. But my divorce started in Domestic Violence court after my wife was arrested.... Ms. mussell gave me the advice to drop the charges for my wife because there was a "procedural thing" anyways... Ms. mussell had videos of my wife raging and disregarding the welfare of her children. She had videos of my son saying mom was drunk driving with them.. she had pages and pages detailing the abuse that I underwent for 5 years after my wife started cheating... (Yes.. the abuse started when I found out.. I wish I hadn't). my wife had visitation for a month as she had to live with her family. (She has 9 siblings and parents alive). When we went back to court I had completed a hair drug test ... A normally court non-admissable FAILABLE HAIR DRUG TEST. I had told Ms. Mussell about my struggles with substances the past two years. (Was/am married 15 years.) Initially, I downplayed the problem as I was using methamphetamine as a quality of life improvement sporadically for 2 years. However, weeks before the hair test I had given her the exact truth of when I had used and the amounts... My hair test came back positive for only one drug. Methamphetamine. I also take a controlled substance prescribed and I had started smoking marijuana again at the same time I had started using meth. (Marijuana is legal in NY). None of the other drugs showed up. Just meth... In a LETHAL quantity.. I hadn't used in almost a month at that point and she knew that information. She just didn't believe me.. Well they threw this domestic abuse victim out of his home and onto the streets. Homeless shelters. On foot... I had no one. No family. No friends as my wife had separated me from everyone I ever knew. My parents had to rescue me and fly me to Florida where i now live away from my 4 kids I basically raised ON MY OWN (YES .. everything moral.. all homework, putting them to bed, getting them ready for school... Etc. my wife made most of the money at the end.. helped financially. ) Well two days ago, Ms. mussell dropped me because I called her " "apathetic" and my tone with her in emails must've gotten to her.". They were not bad at all... Never ever mean.. just frustrated. In fact I constantly apologized for my frustrations too after I would show them.. except for this last time where I did accuse her of being "Apathetic"... Almost 2 years ago Jessica represented my almost-ex-wife in our divorce. The divorce was amicable years and we both signed the papers in her office where it was immediately notarized. Now its been 2 years and she does nothing and still has not filed all the paperwork! WTH she's been paid! DO YOUR JOB... Ms. Mussell.

Ms. Mussell was hired by me for representation. She is a very nice person and she can deceive you business wise... She had all the necessary facts from me and we were both in agreement to start proceedings on my case..However she doesn't do what she agrees on paper to do... I phoned her, & E-mailed ...as well to no avail... Finally when I was able to again go to her office a little early, she was there... I asked her why did she return my calls or try to reach me after numerous messages that I had left? Her response to me I've been busy! I told her your busy is part of my business. She has wasted a great deal of my time..,.Emotionally and physically this entire scenario has been very devasting for me! Also she led me to believe that she was working close with another attorney, however that wasn't so once speaking to him.. I also found out that she was discussing my personal information with other attorney's...

Unfortunately I did not have a good expirance with her. I sought her out by recommendation and met with her was very nice and whT inthought was going ro be extreamly helpful in my divorce process i paind her 1500 in full over a year ago. She has provided no service whatsoever and will not retu...rn calls or emails she has done absolutely nothing and my divorce is a very simple case so needless to say its been 14 moths since i met with and paid her and im still legally married! Think twice!
