I was online searching for reputable lawyers to assist me in a third degree retail fraud case that would've ended up as a misdemeanor on my record with potential jail time, when I came across Jeffrey Buehner. Something about him just stuck with me cos i actually already consulted with another crimina...l lawyer before i called Jeff. After long deliberation, I chose him over the other lawyer with a similar reputation and I definitely made the right choice. Jeffrey took the time to get to know me and my background, and always gave me proper, HONEST advice that pointed me in the right direction. He was never judgmental. He kept me up to date with deadlines and court dates and showed genuine care and concern for me and my situation, which is definitely important to me. He made sure that i deeply understand all the legal jargon on paper and simplified them for me. He was very patient. No trial was needed. During the sentencing, he was able to knock off unnecessary recommendations and the Judge obliged to them. I was able to get the misdemeanor bumped down (reduced sentencing) to disorderly conduct which would've been very tough without a lawyer as good and seasoned as this one and his experience showed in the way he handled my case. The criminal record would have negatively impacted my prospective medical career. The very best part of it is...he got me a "delayed sentencing" they call it. Jeffrey Buehner is an outstanding attorney. Unlike others I have used in the past, his confidence and genuine concern for the best outcome really made the difference. Jeffrey Buehner represented my son for a violation of probation charge. My son has to do random drug testing and one of his tests ...came back positive for THC. Because my son has debilitating headaches he made a poor choice to try and self medicate and it really back fired on him. But because of Mr. Buehner's compassion and knowledge of the law, he prepared a defense that really made the judge listen and he seemed to really care. I was freaking out because I missed a breath test so I called a couple lawyers. They basically said there was nothing I could do and how bad my judge was (I already knew that) but they would try to talk judge out of putting me in jail. I called Jeff and I told him I hadn't been drinking. He told m...e to get a private alcohol urine test which could show back to time of missed breath test. Test showed I didn't drink but my po wouldn't listen. Jeff got judge to dismiss violation by showing her urine test plus my breath test logs. Turns out test was only good if done within a couple of days. If I didn't call him I wouldn't have taken test and would have gone to jail. He made the difference of me not going to jail. Hopefully I won't need a lawyer again but if I do I will only call Jeffery.
