Jason T Yu

Jason Yu’s practice encompasses a broad spectrum of commercial business litigation, including collections, intellectual property, and transactional work. Mr. Yu has extensive experience in all phases of litigation, including trials, and has litigated extensively in both state and federal courts. He has significant experience in cases involving debt collection and trade secret misappropriation. His clients include corporations and individuals, including major manufacturers, banking and financial institutions, transportation and shipping companies, professional partnerships, and technology companies.

Mr. Yu helps corporate and individual clients resolve their complex business disputes as quickly and efficiently as possible. He is skilled in the development of cost-effective litigation strategies, utilizing targeted pre-trial discovery, and when appropriate, law and motion and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). Mr. Yu also has an extensive track record for recovering financial debts on behalf of corporations.

Mr. Yu received his Bachelor’s of Science degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he majored in Psychological Biology with a specialization in Business Administration. While at UCLA, he was on the Dean's List, and received the Chancellor’s Award of Excellence. Additionally, he was a member of the Psi Chi National Honor Society for Psychological Biology.

Mr. Yu earned his JD from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles in May, 2004. While in law school, Mr. Yu was on the Dean’s List, and externed for the Honorable A. Wallace Tashima of the United States Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal. Mr. Yu was also a member of the Giles Sutherland Rich Intellectual Property Moot Court team, where he received top four briefs in the Southwestern Region. Mr. Yu was a Senior Note and Comment Editor for the Loyola of Los Angeles International and Comparative Law Review.
