Old landlord filing an eviction case against me due to a sub-tenant who stopped paying rent. Mr Tamoor advised me on all the documents to prepare for our court visit. He walked me through all the processes, discussed strategies, alternative strategies the good and the bad. We came up with a solid plan, went to court and prepared for battle. When the time came he approached opposing counsel, gave them a solid case on why the case should be dismissed, and very smoothly we were able to close the case without payment or any problems. He led with confidence and immersive preparation. He gave me the assurance that everything would be handled, and delivered just that.

I rarely write reviews but was compelled to write this one because J. Tamoor is an excellent lawyer! He has the qualities one would look for in a lawyer: 1) Knowledge - he knows his stuff and the few times he wasn't sure, he didn't hesitate to say I don't know but I will resear...ch it and get back to you. 2) Responsiveness - he picks up the phone or calls back without making you follow up 3) Empathy - he cares about his clients and what they are going through. That was evident in his passion and in the level of energy he put into my cases. Yes, I wrote cases. He won 3 cases for me and I couldn't be happier!

I hired Mr Tamoor after my tenant stopped paying me rent and started complaining to the city, 311, nypd , housing , building department etc. So he can enjoy free rent for the next 1+ year My tenant has caused damage that have cost me upwards of $17,000 not including legal and court fees I wa...nted an attorney that was going to be there and ensure I deal with this "Tenant from HELL" as nypd officers called him when they would come after he would call them sometimes 3x a day, yes 3x a day not a week.
