Never been in trouble before, I am a truck driver and my livelyhood is driving and I made a mistake. I would like to say my DUI case was handled with tact and integrity and total professionalism by James Thompson of Nehring Law Office of Williston, ND. I was able to access my case 24/7 by internet to get updates on my case which was great. They took my case by phone so I didn't have to travel back t...o Williston for a 3rd time fighting the charge of DUI. As the City of Williston police department never bothered to inform me the first time of the court being cancelled. So, I travelled there the night before a 9:30 a.m. court date and rented a motel room as I am 2+ hours away just to be told it was cancelled. James did a wonderful job on my case. I was being charged with a DUI. From the beginning james said that it was gonna be hard to beat it or get it lowered. But on his advice we decided to play it out and see what happened. The prosecutor's first offer was really weak and we hoped it would get bet...ter if we tried to push it to trial. We recently had a pretrial conference and James was going to wait til most of the other client's we done and go back at the prosecutor with it again. Hr came back with great news that she agreed to lessen the charge to wreckless, which is awesome compared to the DUI. All in all I had to hand it to my lawyer for trying so hard for me. He did an excellent job communicating with me throughout the whole process. I would recommended him to anyone with legal troubles.
