Worst decision ever made

Hired this guy after feeling comfortable at free consultation. Thats the end of the “free” component. Actually charged me his time to take my money. All he did was fill out paperwork for me. I could have hired a plumber to look out for my best interest. Just a paper pusher and never ONCE said….lets... go after this….lets make her buy you out so you could provide a place to live for your two children instead of a studio apartment in the ghetto. I wish I did more research.

Unresponsive, doesn't fight for fathers!

Got in the hole for nearly $10,000 before he started getting too busy for me. He stopped returning my calls and emails. Was constantly in court dealing with other cases which made him too busy to represent me. God forbid he return a clients call off hours. It was always exceptionally difficult to con...tact Jim. Because he was afraid to fight and was too busy, he told me to accept a parenting plan that was inadequate in detail and time with my child. Hiring and listening to Jim was probably the second biggest mistake of my life!

I do have several clients and I am in court quite often on family cases which is not a negative. I give attention to all of my clients during their case. Having several clients does not make it difficult for me to appear in court on any of my particular cases. My goal is to return all client calls within 24 hours. It is not possible to call back within the same day on every occasion. The hundreds of clients I have represented at trials and hearings would definitely disagree with any claim that I do not fight for my clients. I cannot get into specifics of the case because of confidentiality issues but the parenting plan was recommended by two professionals who were appointed by the court. I always present any potential agreement and give my clients the positives and negatives of the agreement along with the likelihood of prevailing if the case is heard by a judge. In addition, I also give the likely financial cost of pursuing the client's goals. Clients then choose whether to accept or reject an agreement. As in any case, there are numerous issues to deal with and at times clients are unhappy with the likely outcome. It is always my client's sole decision to accept or reject any agreement. I do not ever force any client to enter into any agreement because the ultimate decision always rests with the client.

UNtrustworthy! BEWARE! DO NOT HIRE!

Attorney James Cuddy was supposed to be MY lawyer and all he did was take my money and not defend me in the least. He is a terrible lawyer every time i tried to contact Mr. Cuddy I got his voice mail or his male secretary would answer and He'd give him the message and I never would receive a call bac...k. He showed up an hour late to my court hearing and we got nothing accomplished, He is scared to go in front of the judge to let him decide the matter. He will charge you for every little thing, email saying to please call, a voice mail, printing a paper, and he didn't leave any of my hard earned money that I trusted him to use for court hearings on the appeals. Now I'm $2,500 in the hole and without my children. DO NOT HIRE HIM EVEN IF YOUR INSURANCE RECOMMENDS HIM! HIRE SOMEONE WORTH YOUR MONEY!
