I paid this guy $750.00 to begin my divorce. The total amount is $1900.00. I called the next day because I changed my mind and decided to pay him only $350 to fill out the paperwork and I'll go ahead and file with the courts myself. I called him to let him know. He told me that would not be a proble...m. I said ok, how would I get the rest of my money back. This guy told me (like I'm an idiot) that he has to fill out a different set of paperwork and that would cost me the remainder of my $750. Sir, there is NOT A DIFFERENT SET OF DOCUMENTS FOR A DIVORCE. I was totally in shock. This guy is really saying this. After not backing down, he said he would b only charge me $350 and to call him next Wednesday. I will be requesting the remainder of my money via certified letter tomorrow. I can see why he has been disciplined by the state.

Mr. Nance handled my divorce/custody in 2009. Initially, I was hopeful that everything would go well, as my ex was abusive, and I had a clear cut case. I put my faith in Mr. Nance's reputation, and words. However, the abuse was never brought up, at his suggestion, and my ex wound up with my son. ...I would not recommend anyone to use him.
