Helpful and responsive

We reached out to Katie to handle a possession case for someone who lives out of state. She was great about corresponding remotely and worked hard to get us through all of the steps with as little inconvenience as possible. Katie made it fairly painless for us to deal with a situation we'd never face...d before and she answered all our questions without making us feel like we were bothering her.

When in doubt call Katherine

This lady is amazing! I had no positive outlook and she fought hard and took 135 years down to probation. Thanks again. Would hire her for anything. Excellent awesome.

Will persue all options and actually fight your case.

Was very impressed with her ability to gather all relevant evidence, challenge any mistakes made, and put pressure on prosecution with her diligence. She was willing to fight for me rather than just work with the other side for an easy outcome.

Quick resolution

Katherine attended to my case with great attention to details, promptness, and professionalism. Even after the case was settled she attended to my concerns.

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"I've had the opportunity to recently work with Katie on a felony drug matter involving a search warrant and multiple co-defendants. I can't say enough about how impressed I've been with her ability to identify and analyze key issues that raise reasonable doubt on behalf of those involved. She's very sharp and has a keen understanding of how to best simplify complex issues. I would collaborate with her again in a heartbeat. I also wouldn't hesitate to refer a friend or family member to her for serious criminal defense representation."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
