Karen Medina Zinn

I am a native Spanish speaker, born and raised in Lima, Peru.  I have a bachelor's law degree from University of Lima in Peru and a JD from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, IL.  My  interest in Immigration Law arose in 2003 when I moved to the USA.  I came to the United States under a J-1 visa which I later  changed to F-1 status.  I attended Law School, met the love of my life and became a Legal Permanent Resident in 2011.  In September 2014 I became a proud US Citizen. 

Prior to starting law school at DePaul, I volunteered al APNC.  As a valunteer, I assisted clients with their immigration family based questions/cases.  During Law School, I interned at World Relief, a non-for-profit organization that assist immigrants with the immigration family based cases.  As soon as I graduated from law school and passed the IL BAR exam, I started working at Immigration Law Associates PC (ILA).  ILA is a boutique Immigration law firm.  We are four (4) attorneys who practice exclusively Immigration Law.  I work primarily with the Latino community since I am native Spanish speaker.  I strive to provide my clients with the best legal service possible.  As an Immigrant I understand how stressful is to be waiting for the USCIS/DOS/Immigration Court to adjudictae your case,  hence I always keep my clients  informed of what is happening with their cases.  I always answer their calls and respond to their emails in a timely matter.  My goal is to assist you to acchieve your immigration dream. Contact me if you need help with your Immigration case.
