Catherine Venable, attorney at Jeelani Law Firm is absolutely not professional. I ordered evaluation for EB NIW, her assistant asked to upload millions of docs about my accomplishments. I did… No response for a week. Then I followed up with the assistant and Catherine scheduled a call immediately. Sh...e came unprepared, she didn’t even open any of docs that I uploaded. I paid $500 for the evaluation. She was not engaged, she was just throwing vague terms that can apply to anyone. The funniest thing she said I’m not qualified for EB NIW (without even examining my background in the docs) and she started promoting EB1. I said I don’t think I qualify because it’s the higher level than EB NIW. She goes have you ever been assaulted and couldn’t report on this, we can build a case on this. What?? Are you serious?? Then I asked her did she have a chance to look at my docs because I don’t feel like I qualify. She said “not really”. Okay, I asked her to send me requirements aligning my portfolio to come up with 3 strengths out of 10. A week later she sent me a copy+paste requirements from USCIS which don’t even apply to me. I addressed her my concern that she’s continuously shows up unprepared and I definitely don’t want to trust her my future. I asked for refund, she sent me a defensive email that she can refer me to another colleague so I have to pay again lol. What a nonsense!

Catherine may be a nice person but she is completely overwhelmed. Never even looks at your case. They just have a bunch of VAS that work for them that do all of the paperwork and the attorneys appear to just river stamp documents but they take weeks to respond and caused Serious delays because they w...ere too busy. One of my displeasure was brought to their attention. They stonewalled me and refused to help me anymore, but yet didn’t provide a refund. Don’t buy all the hype. This is just an immigration mill. Find a local immigration attorney not one of these big organizations like this.
