January 2018, Professional, very knowledgeable about the law. Msg. Veal and her staff actually prepare for the case

Ms. Veal spent as much time as I needed for my consultation. She explained all my options and answered all my questions. We were completely prepared for court. She did research, prepared whiteness. I was absolutely amazed at her ability and professionalism. I will use her Again. She has grea...t payment plans and is ALWAYS available to talk if you have questions during your representation.

A God Send...

I'm a woman of few words but I had to take the time to say thank you to Mrs Veal and her team on a job well done. Finding yourself in a situation that you never thought in a million years would ever happen to you; very much uncertain of the outcome, will leave anyone questioning what the future will ...hold for you and your family. Facing a 1st time felony conviction, Mrs Veal used her skills and extensive knowledge of the law to work out a very favorable deal for me. One that kept me out of jail, with no community service, and the opportunity to use a first offenders plea. Both Mrs Veal and her assistant Michelle were always available to answer any questions I had (and I had a whole lot of them) and always responded back to me comcerns in a timely manner, either by phone or email. I couldn't have asked for a better attorney and will recommend Mrs Veal again and again to anyone facing a criminal charge. Her entire team will work hard for you and will have your best interest at heart. Thank you again for your service!

Worst service EVER

If I could give this firm zero stars I would! I was scheduled for an appointment at 2 p.m., Sept 5th, 2017 for an accident that occurred Aug 29th, 2017. My vehicle was totaled and I suffered major injuries. I arrived to my appointment early, which I walked to in 90 degree heat because I had no way of... transportation. When I had arrived I was told the attorney was stuck in court but that she would call before the end of the day. I never received a call. I called back the following day was told she was in court all day and that the receptionist didn't know when she'd be in the office again. I told the receptionist that I needed an attorney ASAP and would find another attorney if I didn't receive a call back. Four days later, I received a call TELLING me to come in because the attorney was finally there. When I told the receptionist I had to go with another attorney she got really nasty to me. She hung up on me multiple times. When I asked to speak to the attorney the receptionist spoke to me very rudely! This was the worst customer service I've ever received from any business! HORRIBLE customer service from the receptionist and attorney!

**RESPONSE FROM STAFF MEMBER: This appointment was scheduled to meet with the attorney on Monday at 2 Attorney got stuck in two different courts and was not able to make it back for the consult. They showed up and the receptionist had an emergency so she apologized and explained what happened and she advised that she would speak with the attorney to see when she could reschedule her appointment. The attorney had court each day this week and was not able to speak with her regarding the reschedule until Friday when the attorney came in for appointments. I called her back and asked if they could come in today and she advised that they were going with another attorney so I said OK thank you and hung up. She called back to say that they were unhappy with the service so they were going with another attorney I again said OK, apologized again for the scheduling problem and hung up. She called back a third time to speak with the attorney and I said I explained to the attorney that she was going with a new attorney and she said that she couldn't speak with them since they had gone with another attorney and she accused me of lying to her saying that she thought I was just holding the phone and coming back to tell her that the attorney didn't want to speak with them. She then hung up and called back from a different number to continue to berate me and threaten me with writing a bad review. At no point was I rude or ugly to her and was very pleasant to her even when she thought I was not letting the attorney know she wanted to speak with her. RESPONSE FROM LAWYER: It is our office policy when handling personal injury cases to not engage with people who have other counsel for a variety of reasons. THIS WAS NOT A CLIENT and we are not obligated to work with everyone who seeks our service. We try very hard to make our clients happy. We will not work with people who tell us they have other counsel or threaten us with bad reviews to obtain our services.

"I SEE NO DEFENSE..."

On May 1, 2017, at approx. 8:50 am, Holly Veal, my previous hired attorney, appeared in Judge Amero's courtroom in Henry County, GA to represent her client. 2 years ago, I hired Holly to represent me in my criminal matter and paid her $15,000. During the 2 years, I frequently inquired about our def...ense to the SA's allegations. When I called, Holly's investigator would always tell me to speak to Holly regarding my case. Since this was my FIRST time ever being involved in the legal world, I had no clue of the criminal defense process. Waiting anxiously for Holly to call or write me to go over my defense, she told me in January 2017, "I see no defense . . . " My sister was present at the time of this conversation. In addition, Holly stated that she and Robin Daitch, the Assistant Attorney General, were friends and she (Holly) did not want to go against her in trial. Perplexed as I was, Holly told me the SA offered me a plea. I requested to see the plea in writing from the SA, but Holly never gave me a copy of the plea from the SA. Days later, I called Holly with my friend on the telephone and advised her that I was not accepting the mysterious plea and I wanted to prepare for trial. Holly stated that she would meet with me weekly and prepare for trial. She also stated that she would contact me with a list of resources that could possibly assist us with defending my case. That never happened! With my trial specially set for May 1, 2017, Holly emailed me in Feb 2017, asking me if I had $10,000 so she can hire an attorney to assist her with my case, because she did not have the time to devote to my case. Rather than giving her more money, I hired another attorney and an expert. Less than a month before my trial, below are the emails between Holly and myself: > On Apr 11, 2017, at 8:19 PM, <[email protected]> wrote: > Holly, > What evidence is the SA focusing on? > Please explain to me after two years, why aren't we ready to go to trial on May 1, 2017? >> On Apr 11, 2017, at 3:43 PM, HOLLY VEAL <[email protected]> wrote: >> Guys, >> I have been trying to resolve the September conflict. At this point that has not happened. We need a decision on the strategy for this reset of the trial date. I would much prefer have an order in hand than just show up with argument for Judge Amero. I will put in writing here for reassurance that my intention is to see this case to the end and while I cannot guarantee the September case won't go, it is my opinion based on the facts that it will resolve. To be clear it is a risk. >> Holly Veal >> Sent from my iPhone On Apr 12, 2017, at 5:13 AM, <[email protected]> wrote: Holly, Is it possible for you to request an emergency hearing so we can explain to the Judge that you didn't prepare for my trial because you and Robin expected me to take the plea. Robin stated that in one of her emails/motions to you. In Feb 2017, you stated that I needed to hire another attorney because you didn't have the time to work on my case, so I hired an attorney and an expert. Have you assigned the attorney a specific area of my case you want him to assist with? Have you discussed in detail with the attorney what evidence the State has against me? Have you interviewed any of the witnesses on my list? Please provide the details. Have you examined the search warrant to see whether or not the State followed protocol? Have you examined the Federal Law on Medicaid Fraud to see if the State followed protocol investigating House of Preparation since the State requested to have my license terminated on false allegations, but wasn't successful per the letter from the Medicaid Director. What exactly have you done in preparing for my case? When did we meet to strategize for trial? You told me in January 2017 that were going to meet and discuss my case , but that hasn't happened." I will be filing a compliant against Holly for breach of fiduciary duty.

My son was facing a charge of possession of marijuana, he is a senior in high school, foot ball player, and good student academically. Very scary for the family. Atty Veal was easy to reach, very informative, and walked us through the process of what he could be facing, she made it understandable. ... In the end, the charges were dismissed, with good reason. He was not guilty, but was also scared of the possible outcome. We are very grateful for her expertise.
