Unfortunately it is. However, you may have reliance claims if you can show that an employment contract existed.

Double dipping! If you are disabled, you are unable to work, ergo, unable to collect unemployment.

If they are charging you in excess of what they advertised, you have a counterclaim for violation of New Jersey's Consumer Fraud Act.
