I’m a Registered Nurse in CA, going on eight years now. I made a big mistake in my life. I drove under the influence of alcohol, received a DUI in July 2016, and was convicted in January 2017. I blew a 0.14 and my blood alcohol content (BAC) level was 0.13. I was up for my license renewal in December... of 2017 and I knew I had to self-report my conviction before renewing. I hired Helen to help me with the process of self-reporting a few months before December. There was so much that needed to be done, getting official documents in order, writing my letter of explanation, and other documents which would help in the process of self reporting that I would not have known if it wasn’t for her recommendations. The other best part about receiving a citation and fine is that I will not have to disclose any of this to my employer or other applications; and the citation is not published on the Board of Registered Nursing website.
