Heidi Simonson

I can't say enough positive things about Ms. Simonson. She represented me for two years during my divorce and during that time she was professional, pragmatic, highly competent, knowledgeable and above all, calm, compassionate and level headed. My ex was super abusive and she stood her ground against... him and his bully of an attorney. Plus, she's super smart, knows the system, the family law judges and I always felt like she had my best interests at heart. In the end I got everything I wanted. I can't thank her enough. I highly recommend her.

I have worked with many attorneys, one of which is now a very good friend. Though I have not known Heidi that long (5 years?) , she is my favorite attorney after my friend and that is saying A LOT. Heidi is someone whose legal advice I can trust and she has helped me execute successfully on multiple ...emergency court orders giving advice at critical times regarding a child. After dealing with at least 4 family law attorneys I believe Heidi to be the best in Santa Cruz County to work with. Sure there are some with more experience, but at the end of the day I can tell she wants to help me , rather than just take my money and give the best legal advice possible.

Heidi did an excellent job navigating me through the court system and getting me as close to the outcome I needed. The court system is confusing and not easy, and doesn't always feel very fair. Having a lawyer who listens and truly cares about family and the lives of the children is a great necessi...ty. Heidi was professional, honest, and like a rock when things get emotional or uncertain. Her presence in the court room is welcome when she is on your team!
