Attorney Heather Smethurst is very reliable, professional, personable, and always makes herself available to her clients. I have had Heather represent me in my divorce and was very satisfied with the outcome. I have two children and one has Autism. The circumstances with a special needs child durin...g divorce and modification takes a lot of time and understanding. Attorney Smethurst proved without a doubt she could fight for my childrens rights with an incredible amount of compassion. Without Heather's expertise the outcome may have been very different, considering my ex husband moved to Florida and there were many issues at hand. I have recently used Heather again as my ex husband brought me back for child support modification. She was able to figure out his financial was not accurate and the child support guidelines would not be appropriate. Again, she helped me prevail in what could of been a long drawn out battle that could of ended up at trial. Both times we were able to avoid this and with both divorce in 2013 and back again in 2015 for support modification for an emancipated child she fought for what was right and we prevailed again!
