When I started the journey of custody and criminal defense, my first concern was custody. He walked me through the steps I needed to make and ways I could save myself money. He’s always been there for every hearing, has always been upfront with every possible outcome. Helped me get my child against t...he odds. After the custody part was finalized, he helped me on the criminal side. Again was upfront about the possible outcomes, but advised the route to take that would protect my child as well. Greg Holly did everything in his power to get the best bang for my buck when it came to the retainer. First off, his retainer for my issue was roughly half of what it cost elsewhere, and he takes maintenance payments throughout so your retainer doesn’t run out. Second off, he gives practical advi...ce and will tell you if you’re out of your mind. Additionally, I can’t tell you how many side conversations I’ve had with him (I talk a lot if you can’t tell) where I didn’t get overcharged for my conversations. Third off, which is really important to me, he’s genuine and will talk to you like a human being. As a man that does my own recon and research on things, it feels good knowing that if I bounce an idea off my lawyer or mention something I’ve read, he won’t just dismiss it. I feel confident that I know the steps being taken on my behalf are necessary and articulated, plus he will advise me on things that I can do on my own to keep my retainer from being eaten away needlessly. Last thing, and maybe this isn’t “good” on paper, but he doesn’t mind throwing an F bomb here and there. My former criminal defense attorney (not Greg holly) threw them around like crazy and was one of the most authentic and honest people I’ve met in this field. Lawyers that swear are more trustworthy than lawyers that do not.
