My landlord refused to issue me a refund for my deposit. He kept stalling for six months, ignoring my messages, referring me to his assistant and repeatedly telling me he was taking care of it. Grant gave me some legal paperwork that allowed me to serve my landlord notice. The landlord then wrote me ...a bad check. Grant is a very professional attorney, and I'm very happy with the way he handled my case. He is honest and knowledgeable and I'm glad that I found him when I did. I was hesitant to hire an attorney to handle my case, but after much thinking I finally decided to look for one. I must say I couldn't ha...ve picked a better one, and I'm very glad I decided not to handle my case on my own, as a matter of fact I highly discourage the average Joe to deal with a lawsuit on their own, unless of course you have some knowledge of the law. Having said that, I hope I never find myself in another situation where I may need legal representation as being sued is extremely stressful, but if I do at least I know who to call. :)
