Geraldine does not familiarize herself with the details of your case. On more than one occasion she provided me with bad advice based off of "rulings" that were not included in my custody order. I would continually have to correct her on the verbiage in my custody order and, in doing so, argue my o...wn case with my hired attorney. She didn't bother refreshing her memory before any of our phone calls, so I was being billed to receive incorrect advisement. Furthermore, when I reported this to her law firm, Rick Stock Law, I was told by Rick Stock that Gerry is essentially their lowest paid attorney (provided to me through Legal Shield) and that if I wanted better representation/someone to pay closer attention to my case, I would have to pay more money. In addition, she was highly unprofessional in keeping me informed. I would have to follow up with her often for updates or confirmation that communication, filings, etc. were taking place. She even had me show up to court, during the pandemic, to attend a contempt hearing that she had apparently come to settle with my Ex that morning, but she failed to notify me, so I was the only person in attendance at the courthouse waiting for this hearing that was cancelled. Save your money and represent yourself if Gerry is your only option and do not waste your time with Rick Stock Law, unless you like spending top dollar for a lawyer that actually reads your court orders.
