Civil Matter
Geraldine represented my family in a civil dispute with a tenant. We are happy with the outcome. She was always on time when we had court hearings. She gave us reminders prior to each court hearing. Each court date was about 1 mo apart, and she was thoroughly prepared each time. She sent us copies of...

Geri has given me hope!
My case has not come to a complete end just yet however, Geri is working very hard on my case. I feel very confident with Her by my side. Her response time is amazing! Getting back to me same day for the most part including emails back and forth well after most attorneys would just message back nex...

Fantastic Divorce Lawyer!
From the very beginning, Geri was upfront, friendly and very empathetic on my situation - my ex husband and I had split three years prior, but never went through the actual divorce process. There was an incident that had happened to kind of kick start everything into motion, and I was in dire need to...

Great listener, helpful and available!
Geraldine was extremely helpful during my post divorce issues. She was always available and never made me feel like she was counting the minutes or in a rush. She explained things to me in a blunt manner that allowed me to fully understand what I should expect. Although the outcome was not what I wan...

worst attorney ever!
1. Never inform me of case time or date. 2. Took two week to return telephone calls. 3. Did turn in court paper when she stated she was. 4. She does not have an office , alway had to met at a public place. 5. Prolong case to get more money.
To my client who provided this review, I am concerned that you feel the way you do about your experience with me as your attorney. After seeing your comments, I reached out to you to continue the discussion, to see if we could continue to work together, but did not hear back. I would still love to talk with you as I know that I can help you with your case, we were off to a good start and had strategies in place to move forward. Divorce can be an extremely difficult, stressful time and it is easy to feel overwhelmed and frustrated. I'm sorry you had a bad experience, I strive to provide excellent service and consistent, high quality legal representation. Each individual client and their case is important to me. My law practice is structured to provide very personal service at reasonable fees. To do that, I work from my home and meet with clients where it is convenient for them, sometimes that is a public place, however this has not been a concern for clients as I do have the utmost respect for their confidentiality and they know about the arrangement at the outset of working together. While I do respect your concerns, and I understand the fears and insecurities that can arise from court proceedings in a divorce, I disagree with your take on the situation. The facts you state simply are not accurate. For instance, you did in fact have knowledge of the court date. You were present in court when it was set, you signed an Order to Appear on the court date, and you and I spoke of the next court date numerous times during telephone conversations we had about your case. We were eager to get into court to go after court orders and things you wanted to achieve, so we spoke of it often. Therefore, it was a revelation to me when you told me two days before the court date that you didn't know we had it. You raise the concern as far as additional fees. I did quote you a total fee for the work on your divorce, and we had a written fee agreement for the divorce. However, my representation grew to include an eviction and a restraining order hearing, and I charged additional fees for the additional work. We had discussed the fact that additional work beyond our original fee agreement would result in additional fees. As your case was proceeding, new issues arose and we agreed that shelter and stability for the long term were important goals that could be achieved by the additional actions. Again, I'd be happy to discuss your concerns with you so that I can address them directly.
