He can talk the talk but he can’t deliver! No better than a used car salesman.

Do not hire this lawyer! I was fighting for my sons life and had an attorney but wasn’t happy with him and were looking to possibly hire a different one. I interviewed this attorney extensively and everything he said is not what we got. First U wasn’t looking for him but was calling a lawyer that had... the best reviews and many awards. They said he wasn’t taking new clients but this guy (Holland) is a sidekick. I thought well he’s probably good if he works side by side with him. He sounded good and I hired him. He recommended a blind plea because he couldn’t work out a decent plea deal)if he even tried) and held him over for months in county jail for a court date. Then he said prosecuter called and offered 15 and that he should take it because although he previously said “I think judge is fair and would probably give a better sentence than plea deal. There are more things he did but too much to write. My son is native also but was told his previous attorney screwed that up for him and now can’t have case transferred to Tribal court. He is not good and he got a worse deal than the previous attorney. Very passive to the judge and scared of prosecutors. He didn’t fight for my son. He got 15 in and 15 out and I never knew of the 15 out until time to sign. He told my son with severe ADHD in a jailhouse setting. He didn’t tell me because I had been vocal from the start, which he doesn’t like. We were charged over 7000.00 for this crap job. He also said sentence could be amended when he gets out of prison. I don’t believe a thing this man says. If you need the truth and if you need someone to fight for you do not hire Garett Holland.

Should've went with anyone else

Worked a total of 11 hours on my case in a whole year. Couldn't give me basic information about it then tried to charge me 6k for text messages. Billed a total of 32 hours and 21 were for texts. No actual work done. ChatGpt was more helpful than this guy

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education

  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
